Mid control/master cylinder bracket for 4-speed TM
This stainless steel master cylinder bracket is very useful when making a mid-control for rigid vehicles or custom vehicles.
It is designed to be able to use both master cylinders, the early model Dobin master and the later model FXS/FXDG OEN42453-80A Kelsey Hayes master.
Please choose your favorite master cylinder and use it.
*41754-79A Kelsey master for FLH from 79-84
The reserve tank is higher than the FX 42453-80A, so you may need to drill holes in the plate.
If you are using the Kelsey type, please use the FX master 42453-80A.
4-speed transmissions are old, and the kick cover has often been changed due to repairs or customization, and the shape varies.
This bracket has been designed to be compatible with most kick cover shapes available on the market, including genuine and aftermarket products. (However, since it is difficult to know everything, some adjustments may be necessary.) Depending on the shape of the muffler, interference may occur. Please check the installation reference image. *If the kick cover stud bolt is short, it may be necessary to replace it with a longer stud bolt. Stainless steel Thickness: Approximately 6 mm
