Grille Badge for Porsche [STUTTGART FLAT6 HOLIC]

"FLAT6HOLIC" is a brand that Sadakata of Reverb, a Harley & Porsche parts specialty store, has poured his unique passion and obsession for Porsche into.

This is a grille badge to be attached to the grille part above the rear engine of the Porsche 911, completed as the first original item of FLAT6HOLIC.

If you look at old photos, you can see some very cool badges.

Nowadays, you can get vintage badges and reproductions, but reproductions in particular are made using a different manufacturing method than the original ones, and there has been a significant cost reduction, so even if the design is good, the colored parts and mold pressing are not made by lasers, the material is aluminum, the color is overflowing due to a shortcut finish, and if you compare it directly with the time-consuming vintage construction, you will be disappointed with the quality.

(I was satisfied with the reproductions, but when you see the real thing, you will feel the difference clearly. That's exactly what happened to me.)

After I came across real cloisonné badges, I wanted to be able to consistently get badges with real quality.

So, with the help and advice of members of the car club NPSC (Narrow Porsche Sports Club), who have been enthusiastic about narrow Porsches for many years, we took inspiration from the car club badge designs of the 1980s, added our own original arrangements, and started designing and producing original grill badges using traditional techniques.

The material is copper alloy, and craftsmen hand-carve the molds, produce the bodies using a stamp press, and color them with real cloisonné to reproduce the same high quality as the grill badges of that time.
