Reverb Cable Wrap Black x White
In 1955, when PANHEAD changed from FL to FLH, a new cable wrap was added to the optional parts for Harley Davidson.
The new product from 1955 was a plate-like shape with a white center, unlike the fluffy type from the Knuckle era.
Cable coils (cable wraps) are a very convenient and recommended item for dressing up drum cables and plug cords on vintage Harley Davidson and custom vehicles, but the genuine Harley Davidson cable wraps at that time were already exhausted, and even if they came up on E-BAY, they were very expensive, costing over $200, so they are rarely seen these days.
Even now, replicas of the plated type are sold by VTWIN and can be obtained, but the two-color type with white in the middle that was sold as genuine was almost impossible to get.
I had been thinking for many years about somehow reproducing the cable wraps of the HD optional parts, and finally I found a place that could produce them through word of mouth, and I was finally able to manufacture them! !
First, we obtained a reproduction of the option parts list from that time,
and started by understanding the exact combination of part numbers and colors.
For actual production, we obtained original black/white scraps from that time,
and took the black and white color ratio values,
and produced the dimensions slightly larger so that they are easy to use with modern cable systems.

A total of five colors were available.
For this reproduction, we offer the part number 91696-55 black/white type and part number 91694-55 red/white type, which were also available in the original.
The overall width and white ratio is also quite close to the original,
and the result is very good.
Not only can it be used for old drum cables, clutch cables, and plug cords,
but it can also be used for brake lines and plug cords on modern vehicles, and by simply wrapping it around your bike, you can add a retro feel.
This has been a long-time dream of mine to reissue this item, and I hope that it can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, from vintage Harley enthusiasts to those who enjoy current Harleys.
