FLAT6HOLIC Racing Pegasus Cut Decal BLACK
FLAT6HOLIC Racing Pegasus Cut Decal
"FLAT6HOLIC" is a brand that Sadakata of Reverb, a Harley & Porsche parts specialty store, has poured his unique passion and love for Porsche into.
Following the cloisonné grill badge and magnet circle, which are popular among those in the know, the third installment of the lineup is a rare Racing Pegasus cut decal that has been loved in various genres of motor scenes for a long time.
This time, the designer was L., an artist who specializes in the world view of the good old days and has worked on many famous designs and apparel graphics. He pursued details based on various past Pegasus materials, and drew it with a classic and sophisticated touch.
In order to make the decal harmonize with the body, it was made with a rare single-color cut-out sticker specification that is very difficult to find these days, and it was finished with the best design that they could imagine, such as a dynamic balance and a particular size.
Size
The straight line distance from the end of the tail to the end of the front legs is 165mm.
The height measured vertically from the ear to the tip of the back legs is 135mm.
The decal material is waterproof and has an outdoor weather resistance of 4-5 years.
Set of left and right. [How to apply]
Anyone can apply the decal neatly using the following method.
Mix 2 drops of mild dishwashing detergent with 200ml of water and prepare it in a spray bottle.
Also prepare a spatula for applying the film to remove any water or air bubbles between the decal and the body.
Also prepare a cloth to spray with water.
Determine the application position with masking tape.
After thoroughly degreasing the application area, secure the top with masking tape, peel off the backing paper, and spray both the painted surface and the decal with plenty of water using a spray bottle.
Place the decal on the painted surface and adjust the position.
Once the position is determined, carefully drain the water by pushing the water and air out to the edges with a spatula.
Be sure to thoroughly drain the water from the mane, legs, and wings, which have particularly delicate designs, as any water remaining will come off the painted surface when the backing paper or cloth is sprayed with water.
Also, since it is difficult to remove water by placing a spatula directly on the decal surface,
use the spatula to remove the water while the top backing is still in place.
Once you've finished removing the water, you should usually leave it to dry for about 6 hours with the top backing still on.
Also, if the temperature is low, such as in winter, or you want to dry it quickly,
lightly warming it with a hair dryer or something similar will help evaporate the water and speed up the adhesion of the decal.
*Be careful not to overheat.
Once the water has been sufficiently removed and it has dried, carefully peel off the top backing.
*When removing the backing, do so carefully, making sure that the red part does not stick to the backing.
