FLANDERS Style Riser Set - Low Finish
These original R&U steel risers are designed to complement the distinctive rounded shape of FLANDERS and complement the top tees of Glider Risers and Springer models.
The risers are a fairly low 1-1/4 inches (approximately 32 mm) tall.
*This is the height from the base of the lower base to the flat top surface.
Measured at the center of the actual handlebar, they will be a few millimeters taller.
This is a material-specific riser set made from cast iron that has only been polished.
(Note: These are not chrome-plated and will rust if left as is.)
You can paint them black, let them rust to create a black finish, or adjust the length to create a custom base.
*Top tightening bolts are not included.
(Use a 5/16-24 x 1" top bolt.)
*The riser's tool-receiving surface is designed to ensure a secure fit, allowing for proper torque application.
The seating surface is also designed to be approximately the same diameter as the solid mounts commonly used with Glider risers, allowing for a more streamlined fit.
(Similar to Pauco risers.)
The seating surface diameter is approximately 36.9mm, making it ideal for use with Springer's lugless top tees. It is also possible to combine risers with other manufacturers' risers that have a smaller seat diameter, as they would get stuck in the top tee hole.
Compatible riser bolts are 1/2-20 fine thread.
Vehicles already using fine thread bolts can continue to use them.
*If you are using 1/2-13 coarse thread bolts,
please purchase 1/2-20 fine thread riser bolts separately.
*Please note that when combined with 39mm triples from 2004 and later, they will protrude due to the larger seat diameter than the triple's raised design.
