Metafoam base gasket for knuckle/UL/ULH
This is a Metaform rocker box nut gasket made by Reverb for 1936-48 knuckle/side valve big twins.
As those who have built knuckles know, this washer is quite thick for VTWIN and Eastern products currently on the market, and if you assemble it as is, the nut will float quite far from the rocker box, making it look unsightly.
Our gasket is 0.6 mm thick, so it can be assembled with as few gaps as possible, and Metaform conforms to rough surfaces, so it stops oil perfectly.
The gasket is manufactured by Kishida Precision in Osaka, which is well known for its carburetor parts.
No liquid gasket is required, so there is no need to peel off the gasket at the next maintenance, and unlike paper, Metaform has an iron core so it will not tear or crack. It's a gasket with many advantages.
